We use Beehiiv to manage email delivery. When you subscribe, your email is stored on Beehiiv's servers. Beehiiv's own privacy policy applies to their handling of your data. We chose Beehiiv because they do not sell reader data.
The Local Scoop website uses minimal cookies for basic site functionality. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels on our website.
Our site features ads from local businesses. Advertisers do not have access to your email address or personal data. They receive only aggregate statistics (total readers, engagement metrics).
Every email includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you are off the list. We process unsubscribe requests immediately. If you have trouble unsubscribing, email hello@localscoop.news and we will remove you manually.
Want all your data removed? Email hello@localscoop.news with the subject "Delete my data" and we will permanently remove your information within 7 days.
Local Scoop is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has subscribed, contact us and we will remove their data immediately.
